Racking for New 62,000 sq ft Warehouse – Case Study

Our client, based in Bolton, sells sanitaryware and shower enclosures. 

Unfortunately, due to a fire at their previous warehouse they had to relocate to a new location – a new 62,000 sqft warehouse with eaves at 10000mm (designed for Aislemaster articulated trucks). PASSHA were tasked with installing Arestant pallet racking, providing 7000 locations split between Euros and GKNs.

In addition, all uprights were protected with plastic guards and end of aisles protected with barriers for staff and machinery safety. All racking was decked and completed with pallet back stops. Anti collapse mesh to the rear of a single run was also installed to protect a pedestrian walkway.

Both PASSHA and the client are very pleased with the completed racking, which was finished on time and on budget. The client is now back to full operations in Bolton.
